Not your average dog.

All ears. All awesome.

Hear that? Those big, round ears help wild dogs listen out for their packmates. They let body heat escape, too. Built-in cool!

One dog. One of a kind.

Spots, splashes, and patches! Every wild dog wears its own unique coat. Their scientific name means “painted wolf.” How cool is that?

Ready, set… zoom!

Could you keep up? A sprinting wild dog can top 44 miles per hour. That’s one seriously speedy spotty dog. Whoosh!

Life in the pack

Better together.

A wild dog’s world revolves around its pack. They hunt together, look after their pups, and share food with packmates. Out here, teamwork isn’t just nice. It’s how you thrive.

Pups get priority! Once they’re old enough to join the pack at a meal, the adults let the little ones eat first.
